Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Our Story

Expert Apparel Manufacturing is a Dallas-based garment manufacturer and development house specializing in the production of clothing and textile products by highly skilled and experienced foreign atelier hands who have in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process, from design and pattern-making to cutting, sewing, and finishing. EAM works with high-quality materials, state-of-the-art technology, and advanced techniques to create clothing that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable, durable, and functional. Our work requires expertise in a wide range of areas, including materials selection, garment construction, fittings, sizing, and quality control. EAM is essential for creating high-end and luxury fashion items that meet the expectations of our discerning customers who demand the highest levels of quality and craftsmanship. We have spent the past years pivoting into the luxury RTW and childrenswear market in order to support the increase in American brands returning home for development and production. In addition to EAM’s work in development and production, the company has experience in working with brands producing Asia and Europe who need stateside assistance in rework on damaged/rejected goods.

Our Sustainability Initiative

As we grow so does our knowledge and philosophy. At EAM we choose to side with ethical and environmentally sustainable practices because our home matters. While advances in eco-friendly textile technology are still in the early stages - beyond that we choose to waste the least and recycle the most.

Transparency &
Social Responsibility

First, we are Texan; Our pride is in our state. EAM’s mission is to rescale the garment industry in D/FW - once one of the country’s largest centers for garment manufacturing. Further, we work to lobby for more opportunity as Americans - as we once had a strong manufacturing infrastructure here at home. We also aim to bring back skilled workers into the industry and provide them with livable wages. Currently, workers’ rights is among the worst-performing categories in the BoF Sustainability Index - we plan to change that.

Emissions & Waste

As we face a changing climate due to global trade and movement, EAM recognizes its impact on the environment and plans to invest in property upgrades that will minimize our carbon footprint. Further, we choose to work with shippers who are committed to bringing down their emissions through environmentally friendly transportation innovations. When it comes to waste we work to use patterns and markers that are the least wasteful when it comes to cutting large plies of fabric. When there is fabric waste we choose to save as many usable pieces and donate them for use in charity. Nonetheless, we store all deadstock fabric in our warehouse and communicate with retail convertors to expose them to the market for use by smaller designers.
